About your hairdresser – Julie McGuire

I began my career in the 1990s as an apprentice to Charlie Miller (OBE) before winning the BHA Newcomer of the Year Award.


Today, I co-run Beehive, a boutique, almost anti-salon hair space in Leith, Edinburgh.

I’m passionate about individuality, curls, and texture — especially razor-cut shags, French bobs, and dry cuts that frame your natural features without over-styling.
